My carrots have sprouted, but not the watermelon, even though watermelon are supposed to sprout in half the time as carrots. Apparently the soil in the pot isn't warm enough yet.

I mentioned I was doing this and someone pointed out the normal plants college students grow in their dorm rooms.

"Oh," I said. "I hadn't even thought of that."

Is it that tiny watermelon? You mentioned something about wanting to grow something tiny, and I was really surprised that it could so tiny. It was probably the watermelon.

The mini-watermelons, yeah. Regular watermelon take mammoth plants.
