I have a couple perfect drabbles in my >Open Scrapbook collection. I just didn't use the tag because there's a bunch of other things there too and also I don't use many tags besides the standard ones.

For the love of Lovecraft, use it! Almost all the people using it right now mean something else and then other people pick up the meaning and tag their not-drabbles with it and agrwgruighisduhfalhu

I don't even care that much about drabbles.

Well there are other not-drabble short stories in that collection, so I doubt it would clear up any confusion. I do refer to the drabbles by that term in the authors' notes, if that makes you feel better.

I've actually seen people apologize for their under-1000 word drabbles being too short.
