We had a tutorial on stem cells this week, actually, and I went to a different time than usual... the TA for this particular one was a little hollow in the cranial regions if you know what I mean. She wouldn't stop talking about "OMGZ THEY PUT A HUMAN INSULIN GENE IN A COW, WHAT IF THEY MAKE A COW WITH A HUMAN HEAD NEXT HOLY CRAP", and I continued to boggle at how easy it is to become a grad student.
