Drabbles are kind of unexpected there, perhaps. I tend to feel somewhat disappointed when I click a promising story on FFN and find a drabble, yet don't mind them on lj. (This might just be that finding good, readable fanfic on the site is rare, so morsels just make you frustrated? I really don't know.) Although really, FFN gives word count, so I've never quite understood people who review to complain about length.
