Yesterday I saw a rabbit. It's the first rabbit I've seen since I moved. I didn't even know there were ones here. It was just standing on someone's lawn as I walked home. Wild rabbits have incredible camouflage. In the woods, you can walk right by one, because their fur perfectly matches the dead leaves. Even if you see one move and stop, and you keep staring, all you'll see is a rabbit-shaped outline and one black eye.

So of course, it stood out like a cigarette burn on a painting when standing on bright green grass. Somehow, no one else noticed it. It's amazing what people miss as they wander around aimlessly.

It looked small, but there are two species of rabbit here, and the native one is small. I think it was young, though, because it shouldn't have been standing out in the open at two in the afternoon.

I hope it's okay. The squirrels are getting desperate, so I know there isn't much food around. A neighbor said there are coyotes around here too, although I haven't seen any.

In my own life, things are going more or less okay. Got nine reviews after submitting the latest chapter of Unoriginality. Oddly enough, also had four people add me to their favorites list. It wasn't even that good of a chapter, I thought, so that's a little weird.

The story seems to be doing its job. There aren't many new trainer stories being submitted now. No real raise in the general quality, but at least less junk. ::sighs:: This is what I get for being in a fandom made up of ten year olds.

Wrote out the next chapter of it, I'll probably submit it in about a week.

My kittens have been good. They spent most of the day sleeping on my bed, and now they're active and running about. One is Mancha. She's the more affectionate and dependent of the two. Normally, she'd be keeping me up all night by poking and prodding me until I pet her. I'll be up all night anyway today, so she can't do that. The other is Stripe. Stripe is more independent and doesn't require so much affection. She also has the strange habit of wiggling her tail as if she's spraying when I do pet her. I suspect a botched spaying.

Both are very skittish. I'm only fostering them, and I'm worried they won't be that adoptable. They're both sweet, but they're pretty old for adoption (seven months) and they aren't as good around people as they should be. Of course, it doesn't help that my female cat is hissing and chasing them. They aren't too relaxed.

Tonight, I get to watch anime! YuYu Hakusho, Inuyasha, Wolf's Rain, FLCL...I don't know what I'd do without cable.

Haha ;) Don't worry; I'm a fan of ur stories and I'm *your* age. So there are a couple of outliers at least.
