Kittens went to the vet yesterday, and I'm proud I got it all right. They're female, older than the month my aunt claimed, have worms, don't have ear mites, and their back legs have muscle problems. We also got free kitten food and two sparkly balls for them.
I discovered my older cat is the one killing the birds. At least he's gotten better at it. He used to tear them up pretty badly, but now he's learn to snap their necks first. We need to bell him.
Continuing on the 'Let's drive Farla insane' theme from the last entry, Alex Warlorn has reviewed my newest story with even worse gibbering than usual. Some people might think that an author blocking them was a sign to stop reviewing, but not Alex Warlorn. He's 'special' that way. And some people might think that if the author then contacted them and told them to stop reviewing, that would mean the author didn't want them to review, but not him.
(On a completely unrelated note, wouldn't it be great if FFN had a feature that let you block certain users and IP addresses from even viewing your story? Or, failing that, one that would give electric shocks to them every time they tried to review?)
Someone else emailed me about drawing Midnight, which is nice. As with all emails I get about it, I'm somewhat disturbed by the fact this person really liked the story, but I'm somewhat disturbed by anyone telling me they liked most of my stories.
I really should finish the story, it's just it's so....bad. And boring. And the storyline is so fragmented and random it's schizophrenic. I've got half the last chapter written, and I just can't. It's horrible and pointless and why does anyone even want to know what the ending is?
I managed to buy a bunch of pokemon comics/manga online. They should be delivered shortly after the sun becomes a cold, dark ball as I chose cheap shipping, but I will get them at some point and that's what's important.
Also, there's been another spat of new trainer stories. I'm not even bothering to review because they'll probably be deleted for the spelling/grammar mistakes.
I'm going to write a little tutorial on how to write an OT story after I finish up an Unoriginality chapter and review someone's story. And make brownies.
(Note that 'work on Ice' was not in there. I need to find my notebook.)
