Pokemon Revolution Ch14

Chapter Fourteen of Pokemon Revolution is now up. As can be seen in my opening notes, the moral here is that my main motivation in writing is an opportunity to screw with people.

I don't much like the chapter itself, but then, the format of the original chapter was actually rewritten dozens of times in the first place, so it's no surprise I'd run into similar problems on update. But then, seeing that the reviews so far have been divided between "I hate the pokemon and I hate you and I hate Eon most of all because she's pure evil" and "Awesome! I can't wait for Eon to kill Ash and his friends!" I imagine this will be a sentiment shared by readers regardless.

On an unrelated note: I am incredibly pleased to discover that fandom has already made Teddy Lupin gay.

Yeah, I was thinking about that while deleting scenes for this chapter. I know fun/comic relief is valued among readers, but even at the time, I didn't feel comfortable with them. A number of the scenes were included at the time because I thought of them and found them amusing individual bits, but they never fitted together well with the rest, and most were weird tangents. (Ch14 is supposed to be Eon in agonizing pain, trapped with humans until she can escape. Rambles about where Brock stores cooking equipment just don't make sense.)

I do see what you're saying, and I'll try to keep things in, but I never really liked how the comedic bits turned out.
