Palin - Secretly a Robot?

Palin keeps responding with bizarre non sequiturs on the policy issues. Sometimes she gives an answer that's on the subject without relating to what was specifically said, sometimes she just goes off on another track but remains on her chosen topic, other times she makes one random statement, then makes a speech on some different subject.

It's like she has a few dozen premade statements and someone is frantically hitting buttons trying to assemble them into responses. And sometimes there's no entry in the Palinomatic 2008 and they have to hit whatever subject seems related and hope it seems like natural human speech.

What Palin really seemed to be doing during the debate was memorize answers that she know will probably be asked, and when asked a question she didn't know, she wouldn't answer directly. Notice how Biden mentioned some topics, and she just ignored them.

My favorite part of the debate: Palin saying that the US needs to have all the oil because, since we're a Good Country, the oil we burn pollutes the atmosphere less than the oil burned by Bad Countries.

Now that's just silly. Palin isn't a robot, she's a normal middle-class American just like us hockey moms and Joe six-packs!

(A robot could probably pronounce "nuclear" correctly.)
