So I went to go vote. There was a woman holding a sign about voting no on one of the propositions, and I couldn't remember if that against. I asked her and she launched into an explanation of how the proposition was Bad, but I reassured her that I agreed, I just hadn't remembered if voting no had meant no to the concept of not doing it or something. (In my defense, the other two propositions I had to vote yes on to indicate I wanted something to not happen.)

As we were heading off, she complimented my parents on "bringing their children too".

Not bothered, though, because it meant people gave me candy a few days ago. Mm, candy.

Anyway, voting, as last time, was an amusing process in which no one blinks if my dad tells me how to vote on each one as we fill out the ballot (last time we had to bring notes to remember which of the twenty guys we were supposed to vote for) and it's relatively easy to see what other people are voting, more so if they're like us and pointing out where we voted Obama to my little brother. The pathetic non-efforts at a secret ballot are important, because we're a blue area and we keep it that way by following the Republicans back to the parking lot and beating them up. Sorry, Republicans, but library funding's important. We need to buy more comic books and replace the books on tape with books on CD. I mean, do you know how time consuming it is to rip things from tape? This is an important priority.
