So my laptop has been rendered a paperweight due to the power cord breaking and my not having a sharp enough knife to cut it open (this is probably for the best, really).
I tend to see the word count of NaNo as the main point, so I'd already written the opening to the story I intended to do...safely stored away on the laptop.
My idea of posting a story during NaNo will have to wait a few days.
Of course, since sane priorities are for crazy people, I'll start typing the next segment anyway, rather than do real work.
