I don't know if these people are young and have not developed the ability to think abstractly or are just stupid, but it befuddles me that all of them find it so hard to differentiate between "real world where Pokemon is a copyrighted thing" and "literary world where these copyrights do not exist." That's the real crux of the argument here... that they aren't able to wrap their minds around that concept.

It's an interesting assumption considering how gender-neutral my name is. Usually I'm a victim of the "no girls on the interwebs" rule, but the rule here seems to be "anyone who disagrees with me is a girl."

That is interesting. Either they assumed you were male but effectively dickless due to not ordering the rest of us around enough and deserving of mocking based on this, or they can't even imagine a guy not ordering us around.

Alternatively, they refer to anyone who disagrees with them as feminine, since it's an insult either way.

Not sure which is the most depressing option, really.
