And not just any servants, servants with access to high security areas! I could buy them being rendered mute and forced to work in mines or factories or something, but domestic servants to high profile people in the Captial itself? … no. Just … no. Where are the gruesome public executions? It's not like the book is shying away from violence, so why this … madness?!
They can obviously afford to feed an extra kid easily, since again, these assholes were keeping a pig. I love how you're not letting that go. I approve: my school kept pigs, my neighbors kept pigs … the pig stuff in this book is just dumb.
