You know...maybe people don't. Ultimately we only know it's plagiarized when someone notices, so if we only see it occasionally, that may just mean it's often unnoticed. (Zanna Taru did manage to post a full story, after all...) I've heard people say before that plagiarism is usually rare, popular stories, and that it's usually found pretty fast, but who's to say it's not that we only *notice* stories like that? Especially if the story is posted on a different archive.
