Rich people.

If the 3DS XL is busted from the water damage it took from being exposed in FUCKING WINTER I'm going to figure out which house is theirs and burn it down.

Admittedly, they may not notice the loss of one house.

Did they just dump a pile of stuff in your front yard or..?

Saw it driving by, had to intervene.

Absolutely none of it seems to have been damaged prior to the inevitable weather - only one of the battery toys wasn't working and that was water damage on one battery itself (because of course those are great for landfills!), the actual inside was shiny and pristine. The only thing that even made sense was the styrofoam, and that shouldn't be sent to the dump either! WE HAVE RECYCLING PROGRAMS, THAT'S WHAT CHURCHES ARE FOR!

There was this one big statue where I was like, well, okay, it's broken so it makes sense you'd...but no, it'd gotten smashed being thrown into the pile.

WEIRD. Any chance it's cursed? Angry ghosts? Bedbugs?

Bedbugs were my concern initially, as the top layer had plush toys, but I don't think they live on giant slabs of rock or sealed toy sets or DS games. It looked like it was someone emptying out their basement - kid's toys and papers, potting soil and pots, the styrofoam used to cushion really big things you buy.

One toy set (for a young child) had so many tiny fiddly pieces we initially thought several were missing because we didn't notice them in the set itself, and we couldn't find the very last one, but while putting it back in after drying I found it just in the back. It even still has the plastic inserts to keep the soft parts from deforming. There were also two DS chargers, one still unopened, and the pictures in the multiple digital cameras suggest they were bought whenever they had an outing. So rich people who can afford to buy something, use it never, and then chuck all of it.
