At first the plan appears to have been for everyone's pokemon to evolve, but now it looks like the author, swamped under the number of submissions, isn't up it. She seems to also show a preference for evolving pokemon that have a cool next stage, like shelgon to salamance. So they'll probably remain the same, unless the author feels like making up the next evolution for your created pokemon. (I bet you didn't know that catiel evolves into pheonryu, the mighty flamebird/dragon thingy with sparky feathers. SPARKLY I TELL YOU!)
