Posted chapter eight of Unoriginality 1: An Original Trainer Story. This one's about the first pokemon battle most OTs have.

And I got Fire Red yesterday. My team is a L18 charmeleon, L19 magikarp, L18 nidorino, L16 mankey, L16 pikachu, and a L17 oddish. Yes, it's very arbitrary. I also raised a pidgey to L12 before remembering I could use my charizard for the fly HM, and I have pokedex data on twenty pokemon. I'm about to fight Misty. More full comment on the game later.

I'm not too sure how serious your comment about Yu-gi-oh card playing was but I would say that shouting when excited by something or a as a means of encouragment is not limited to Yu-gi-oh battles.

I was kind of put off by the superior introduction and ending. Even so it was still interesting to read.

And changing to have a different gravity? So many different things would change in the world which would make it a dramatically different world.

Uh...did I say it only happened on Yu-Gi-Oh? Or did I just make a comparison to Yu-Gi-Oh being another show where the characters shout while announcing moves?

And no, saying there was a different gravity wouldn't be *changing* it since it's not established. I didn't really mean it that seriously, but saying they have lighter gravity would explain how people and pokemon are able to make such large leaps, pokemon like charizard and dragonite can fly, characters can survive falls, and Brock can carry so much in his bag. I was just pointing out that there are other ways of dealing with it.

I don't think anything short of magic could make dragonite fly.
