The eleventh chapter, where it occurs to Sora that possibly believing everyone you run into is a bad idea.

Of course, being Sora, he gets it wrong.

I was originally writing the story as a sort of complete runthrough - Kimi's there to shove him around, that's my general playing style, and I didn't think anyone would appreciate the level of realism found in "Sora had no idea what to do next. He flew to Traverse Town and talked to everyone, but they didn't say anything new. Then he spent a few hours trying to solve puzzles he didn't have the right powerups for until he finally gave up. Next he flew to Wonderland and spent hours trying to get one inaccessable chest. Then he flew back to Traverse and wandered around talking to everyone again." Plus, with the exception of Leon, most times, missing something just means one less scene.

But part of writing this is trying to connect the dots between the cutscenes. We know Sora wants to save Alice, and he knows the Cheshire Cat said there are four pieces of evidence. As players, we know the cat is telling the truth, both because that's how things work, and because the metatext tells us the Cheshire Cat helps Alice out.

Why would Sora think that, though? I started trying to write out an explanation, and realized I was just going to end up writing another scene where Kimi drags Sora around. And the most I tried to cast around for the justification for Sora's belief, the more I realized he has absolutely no reason to believe the cat.
