When I first decided she'd read the bible, I immediately thought of reading through it to find an appropriate passage for her to open to. Then I realized that was insane - what am I, a fundy? I went over and grabbed a random line off Biblegateway.
If the passage seems meaningful, if any of it seems to resonate or feel appropriate to what's happened, know this: it's arbitrary chance.

(As it turns out, it's the same book that the rapture lines come from, which Adalia will interpret as Deep Meaning and God Trying To Contact Her. Because that's what our little monkey brains are designed to do - find connections between stuff, even if there actually aren't any.)
