Fanlib is insane

I'm still getting PMs, and they've just officially passed weird and headed right into crazyland.

Quick background - a lot of people will PM me to defend themselves/their friends. The typical exchange usually peters out and maybe a fourth of the time end with an actual "okay...let's be friends!" bit. I've been thinking this was a little weird but guessing it was some form of conflict avoidance, where they were trying to make sure the fight was over. I've seen that elsewhere, so it seemed to make sense.

First of all you can't tell me how I should write my story. If I write it like because it's my way. There no need to get mad, but you should haven't come at a beginner like that. Cause I just started writing stories on here, and I pretty much like how I put my stories. And if the spelling is wrong is because I was typing to damn fast so don't come at my story like that. If you didn't have anything good to comment about my story then you shouldn't have wrote anything at all...ya dig???/

The third PM is my favourite, because it only takes them two sentences to contardict the logical fallacy they introduced in the first.

Amusingly, saying "No, that doesn't make sense" is overreacting and getting upset, as they inform me in all caps with a dozen exclamation marks.

You're a monkey? (Sorry, 'your a monkey'.) That is the best they could come up with? Wow, they definitely haven't gotten any better at insulting people since I've been gone.

And woe on the abused punctuation. The exclamation mark must feel terribly stretched - like the author's imagination - and abused. The poor thing.

Good to see you're still going strong when it comes to reviewing, though. ^^ Though I doubt you even remember who I am, seeing as it's been such a long time.

Hi! I do remember you (thought you'd vanished a while back, good to see you're still around.)

I think it's because I said they were like a puppy in how they were failing so hard and so childishly, about ten PMs before. Doesn't make the monkey thing any less random, though.

I did vanish, in a way. Starting a new job, changing schools, moving, and having to deal with my parents' divorce has kept me from doing much of anything for quite a while. Pokémon, unfortunately, wasn't high enough on the totempole. : P

It's good to see you're still around, though. I've gone back to giving reviews and I have to admit I rather missed the brainless 'OMG U SUC' comments they always resulted in. Good times.
