farlaSo I tend not to do character question things because my characters either have uninteresting answers or the question just doesn't apply to them. But then I thought that I'm working on messed-up Exalted characters.
So you get them.

Winter Moon, Chosen of Luna.

At least thirty and definitely less than a hundred. She kind of lost track, anyway.
3. [[Is your OC a boy or girl?]]
Girl.

Human/Lunar Exalt/Wolf totem.
APPEARANCE

Zero if her magic works. Otherwise, quite a lot, unless she was at an anime convention, in which case people would just be taking a lot of pictures and asking what character she was.
2. [[Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?]]
Yes/No. There are 299 other people like her and they're an intrinsic part of the setting, but the world's population minus those 299 others basically all think she's a demon baby eater.
3. [[What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?]]
She's got a mass of fluffy white hair that looks somewhat like a mane, is covered from head to toe in silver tattoos, has jagged wolf teeth, and possibly a tail.
It's hard to say.
4. [[Would you consider your OC as attractive?]]
I'd consider her cute, but qualify that by saying the reason I like things like catgirls and catboys is that I like cats, and this is cute-as-in-puppy, not cute-as-in-sexually-attractive.
PERSONALITY

She's pretty good-natured, especially for a Lunar. She'll happily fight lots of things she doesn't like, but the only thing that really provokes her is anyone raising issues about Shout, who is a Solar shut up a bleeding cast mark is normal.

The Solars will solve everything. And now they're back. Yay!

Sort of both. She's based on the model of those big dogs who bark their heads off at you, because they know their person is totally awesome and can beat you up.
She's basically a beta. She gloms onto an alpha, who she recognizes as above her, and everyone else is below her because clearly her alpha is the bestest and most awesome. And she's entirely willing to cart the alpha around with her and make all the decisions if she has to.

Perkily good-natured.

Yes, and presumably. She hasn't seen them since exalting and fleeing the city. It's been a while since then.

She was sent out on her own to investigate something, but somewhat blew things by stealing Shout instead and now there's a plague and stuff. But it's okay because the Solars are back and she's joining up with them while they solve everything.

She's still kind of pissed off about getting blamed for everything and fleeing the city and all that, but hardly traumatized by it.

She's been really enjoying pretty much her whole post-exalting life. Possibly currently, since the Solars are back and will solve everything.

1) Denial/fanaticism. She's been told things work a certain way, she really likes the idea, so that's how they are and if they aren't she will MAKE them work that way.
2) Subservience/pack behavior. She tends to make an initial decision (I should listen to this person) rather than making up her mind about later individual plans, even when she knows the later plans are terrible ideas. She'll also listen to someone she knows is working off far less information than she has.
3) Not really paying attention to relevant facts. The Lunars are Good, because they helped her, unlike those Dragonblooded jackasses. Therefore, say, her description of Lunar Elders like Raksi is more "she's an awesome sorceress and great hostess and so nice!" and less "she is completely insane and eats babies".

Well, she's literally extremely strong. She's also perfectly intelligent outside her blind spots, quite focused and determined in her own way, and possibly the only character in the whole of the setting who's actually enjoying herself.

Nope. If nothing else, the amount she'd have to drink to get drunk would make it way too expensive and time consuming.

Her response to inter-Lunar conflict is rolling over and displaying her belly the instant anyone tries. While the other Lunars think this is a bit odd, it means they largely like her since she's always willing to help them out with whatever they're doing, and without a lot of dominance posturing back and forth or challenges over territory or any of the rest.

The Abyssal exaltations haven't existed until they were made from some of those Solar exaltations a few years ago and they're a perversion of just about all natural laws and a few unnatural ones for good measure. And most of those guys are hanging around in the underworld instead. And she's an unusually screwed up Abyssal even for Abyssals.

She's a corpse-white little girl, but she tends to be mostly covered, so it'd be being wrapped in black cloth and carrying around/wearing sobbing black metal.

She's really good at killing things if you can get her to recognize there's a battle going on. And really good at sitting where she's put.

Well, she drinks blood.

It's very easy to tell live ones from food ones because of feathers, but they keep walking around after you pull their head off and people keep telling her those ones aren't walking dead but when she pulled off the person's head she was told that now he was dead and HE didn't keep walking around and that time the woman kept walking around she was told that was different than being dead and she said like chickens and Winter Moon said no not like chickens and in general it's just too confusing.

Date: 2009-04-07 02:10 am (UTC)Assuming there isn't a TPK within five minutes (my brother's view is "so, since we're going up against a Realm run by demigods who want to kill us, I want to have no fighting experience whatsoever. What's the minimum strength you can have and still be able to stand upright? Maybe I could have asthma too.") I intend to eventually write out the saga. But right now it's looking like it'll be the very short and very TPK sort of saga.
