I don't need some stupid grammer lesson, and by the way, the names are proper
nouns in thebstory, you are just confusing me on this, nobodies perfect, I
make mistakes. Everybody does. Got it memorized? If not, read again.

Umm... that's nice to know, but Pokemon are capitalized. Bulbapedia when
referring to Pokemon like Pikachu they'll say Pikachu even though it's not
Ash's Pikachu. For Trainers, it is also capitalized. I don't know if that's
the way, but that's my style, and I don't think I'm gonna change it anytime
soon.

Unsincerely, Killer of thy Cookies

P.S. By Unsincerely, it's just a pun. Don't take it seriously.

I was using the term very loosely. I should call it a flash fiction from now
on I suppose.

I will edit that. Sorry, that was not what I meant to say.

Thank you for the criticism!

I'm not sure but I think this might be the first person to actually say they'd stop with the drabble thing.

I am aware of proper nouns, thank you, but since the only named Pokemon in
this fic is Blue's Raticate and it's always referring specifically to Blue's
Raticate, i'm a little confused as to what your problem is, especially since
Pokemon spcies names tend to be capitalized in official mediums as well :/

For a crack explanation, it does make a weird amount of sense XD

Unfortunately, it is uncommon and generally agreed to be bad practice to use
normal text for speech that's not coming from a person physically present,
which is why it's commonly used for remembered quotes as well as things said
over the phone, radio or television. I know this can get mixed up with
internal thoughts, but that's just an unfortunate limitation of the medium.

Thanks for your criticism, but please be aware that it can come off as rude or
condescending if you tell people that they "should" or "shouldn't" do
something. Better to say that something makes it clearer or more descriptive
or whatever.

A response to your review at http://www.fanfiction.net/r/6629954/

Thanks for the advice and explaining to me how awful it was, i will try and
use what you told me in my story.Thats if i get enough positive reviews,in
which case i will continue writing this fic and separate the chapters. And
about the title,i realised that it may be quite common but the title does go
with the story. As it was my first fic i decided to go with a simple cliché
Pokemon journey.Thanks again

And now, so much reviewing to catch up on...

Where are people getting the "grammar is subjective and anyone can write however they want and you're a meanie mean person for trying to suppress my special snowflake rights" thing from? I mean, really? Do these people even know what grammar *is*? If they knew that the *entire point* of it is to keep perfect *consistency and readability* throughout everything...they would probably make the same argument, wouldn't they? Who knows what goes on in their crazy moon logic heads.

The argument tends to boil down to that they can read what they wrote, so they don't believe anyone else could have problems. It's what you get when people who aren't big on reading try to write.
