I seem to have lost the ability to make decisions

So internet. I lack self control.

The two Creatures stories I have up are not really stories so I really should take them down anyway even on grounds other than the fact they are terrible, terrible things.

I have five non-pesterlog fics. (Sperl and Beginnings could be smushed together, though.) There's the one with Vriska backstory, the one that's a high school AU, the one that's Eridan/Feferi, the one that's about baking and the one about a sburb game. What two should I post? Or should I just post all of them and forget about keeping my pretty numbers?

If I were in your situation, I would just post all of them and forget about keeping that number. All of those sound interesting (only one I read of yours is the Vriska backstory, but I hope to read the other ones when I get the chance).

Fed and Beginnings+Sperl. The Eridan/Feferi one is dated in the worst possible way, and the Pit doesn't really need more high school AUs, even genuinely entertaining ones.

It's a special number in Japanese mythology, roughly equivalent to 666 here.

...that's probably not the best analogy. You'd never expect to see a rosary with 666 beads, or a Christian church with 666 steps. It can be ominous, but it's a holy number, not one to be avoided like the plague.

Technically, it's not that 108 itself is too important, but that 108 is one of the last cool numbers. There are many pleasing numbers but things get into triple digits you've got that stupid 1 ruining otherwise nice number combinations.

And pretty numbers are the most important thing.

Yeah I wasn't really thinking I'd post the Eridan fic but figured I'd mention for completeness. Although now I have a sudden desire to know what reviews I'd get. But I should probably not troll my fandom until they actually do something to anger me.

Yeah, that's sort of what I meant! In Christianity, it's "This is the Devil's number and if you have anything to do with it you are probably a servant of the Devil." In Buddhism it's "This is a number associated with devils, so let's meditate on it until we've purged them."

I guess it's sort of like the difference between, "If your eyes offend you, pluck them out!" and "Huh you fucked up pretty badly and maybe you'll be blind in the next life. Oh well, you'll get through it eventually!"
