So this fanfic where Snowman turns into a raptor and the return of that godawful Calliope is Lord English theory made me think.

People have been writing ultrafluffy Lord English fanfic for a while, since before we really knew what he was. Even then, these were usually pretty bad, because nothing about Lord English really fits with him assembling the Felt to be a happy family he loves about and other ridiculous fanficisms.

But while that's totally not what Caliborn wants out of life, if Calliope was Lord English? Life would be fanfic. People coming back to life for contrived or no reason! Omg you are partners with your crush! Suddenly, wings! Why do they seem to have no clear goals or order? Because Calliope has only a very foggy understanding of what mobstering involves and doesn't care when she has her intricate shipping chart to update.

So: all fluffy, cracky or otherwise noncanon stuff takes place in the alternate timeline where Calliope beat her brother and went on to rule the universe and create the Felt. Regular fiction stays in the usual timeline where Caliborn is Lord English is an evil monster.
