farlaSo NaNoWriMo starts today.
I was on the fence about participating. On the one hand, it's a cool idea and I do procrastinate like hell. On the other, I have a lot of stuff already going I really want to write, and starting a whole new project seemed like bad idea on several levels. On the other hand, it's a cool idea. And shiny.
So I decided I'd participate in the aiming for the goal bit, but not start something new. Which is pretty much the same thing as staying on the fence and refusing to make a real decision, but more comfortable. Like there's a beanbag chair perched on the fence to sit on or something.
Wow, it's true that your thought processes get less coherent when you're overheating.
Now to harness this power for writing. Off I go.
