I wonder what is it with the various iterations of pokemon-sue journals? We've gone through, what, seven? And they're all depressingly similar. Most are very short lived, most didn't update regularly even while they were there, most spent more time complaining about badfic than marysues (granted, this probably is why they all burned out so fast), most aren't even particularly interesting...And you really can't convince me copy-pasting an apparently random segment full of misspellings or such is really that hard, so it's not like they're burned out because they're putting in so much effort. And it's not like they didn't get attention, as judging by the comments there are many around who are happy to read and mock their short run of posts.
Most other fandom sue journals seem to last longer and do it more regularly. And the ones I recall disappearing tended to do it in connection to the fandom - PotC was very active while the fandom was very active, then died down as more time passed since the movie - or have understandable reasons for burning out, like actual regular posts that indicate they read a lot of the story to be able to pick choice excerpts. Ours appear out of the blue and then fizzle out almost immediately.
