So this morning I got a PM from PsiUmbreon pointing out, reasonably, that double accounts are against the rules.

***************
You should avoid using duplicate accounts because it's not allowed on this site and using more than one account leads to all accounts except one being banned. So to avoid being banned you should stick with one account from now on, okay? Don't care whether it's this one or icemew but stop using one of them.

My first encounter with the modding team besides the whole Yam-Yam fiasco I was on the sidelines to. Completely level-headed and reasonable.

I get here for lunch and discover I have been permanently banned, forever and ever, for having dual accounts.

Personally, I just wish I knew why. I'm sure it'd be amusing. Connected to the Yam-Yam fiasco (or something similar), or someone mad about what I used the forums for?

Edit: Just looked at the times. I probably shouldn't have argued with Zephyr Flare about her totally impartial treatment of the Yam-Yam fiasco.

Well, your last comment was still convinced it was based off your story, which was all I had to go by now that the topic's locked. If that was just based on anger and you've since changed your mind, then that's good.

And based on comments generally, I realize that people are going to be more prone to seeing the story as a near-parody of theirs because it's likely few have even read the original two that inspired this, which it matches a lot more closely and has a number of deliberate allusions - the nonsense syllable names, the dynamics of Lucki's interactions with her pokemon, and the events of the first few chapters are all closely based off one story. Another character's name and the idea of their backstory comes from the other story.

Second, I am not an expert on animal/Pokemon psychology, so my reviews never touched on that aspect of the story.

Eh, nonissue. Part of Lucki is that people just assume things are fine and don't think about the side-characters. Lucki really is emotionally abusive toward Flare. She criticizes him for collapsing after winning a battle against a water type. It's just that no one thinks of the pokemon as characters of their own, so Lucki's comment is interpreted as if it was to herself, not as if Flare is a thinking individual. It's not a matter of being a better or worse writer/reader or a criticism directed at anyone in particular, because pretty much everyone in the fandom does that.
