Chapter 13 of Lucki

The thirteen chapter of Lucki is up, and the summary has been amended to reflect that. I may likely change the entire title at some point, but I haven't decided yet.

It's always interesting, if stressful, waiting for the response. It may be nothing, or it may explode. Or it may be nothing now, followed by an explosion, followed by something else. Only time will tell.

Here's hoping for a proper explosion! Although seeing as how only one person has reviewed the last few chapters, that doesn't seem so likely.

A lot more seem to be reading but holding off reviewing, judging by the hits, but an explosion is admittedly unlikely, as many of my readers were less behind Lucki in the first place.

Finally got around to reading "Lucki" here. I quite enjoyed the schadenfreude, irony/tragedy aspect of it. I did find myself skimming over the battle scenes, but I've been doing that with all kinds of fight scenes lately so it might just be me. I noticed that Lucki calls the absol "Fara" in chapter 13.

I liked your dissection of the assumptions that people make about keeping pokemon, though--it's been bothering me as well, an itch-on-my-brain that I couldn't quite find the edge of.

Yeah, I fixed the name bit (chapter thirteen's final edit was a bit rushed because I realized I hadn't done it that night, and I wanted to get it up on time.)
