Jul. 20th, 2007 11:46 amSo apparently some Harry Potter books shipped early, and apparently some wonderfully brilliant evil people have scanned said books, and apparently it's all over the internet completely free. Not that I ever would be getting the free, small file that downloads in under a minute on your average high-speed connection, easily found with a simple search, or in any way advocating you type something like "harry potter deathly hallows pdf" into google.
I may still buy the Walmart version just because I've been assured they're losing money on the sale.

Date: 2007-07-20 05:10 pm (UTC)Then I realized I'd be really tempted, and imagined some worker who actually cares about real books, after having to sit through some four-hour training session about how the books must be treated like God wrote them, and they are the most important thing ever, and if it gets out that Harry ends up with who-the-fuck-cares it will be the biggest deal in the history of ever...and head back to the computer to accidentally alter a date.
