I've been watching that with a mix of amusement and fear. Amused at the complete and utter stupid, and fear that said stupid will spread. Livejournal is dumbing down by the minute, even though I never thought it possible. -_-

Oh, don't worry. The old definition of being a lackey (disagreeing with M.M) has been replaced with a new one (being named Farla). So you're safe from lackey accusations until the definition changes again (my money's on "people who use the word logic").

Regardless, he doesn't seem to react well to logic. Perhaps he has alergies. Up until now he hasn't exactly been reacting well to any comments other than "you're right" or general sympathy over his terrible life (except his girlfriend who is like a ray of sunlight in the eternal darkness of Death and whatnot because she is so wonderful). So I somehow doubt that my words would do much good. Even his reaction to Psychic (whom he respects?) who did bring up some decent points was throws to the side. I'm sure he would have shunned //Mix\\ too for her words had she not buttered each of her replies at the end.

Normal people don't only remember their grandfather died months ago AFTER a week of them posting nasty comments has finally led people back to respond, then forget about it once things quiet down and post more bitching, then remember again when people reply a few days later. They also don't spend their time talking about how their girlfriend is so awesome and they know everything about life and romance elsewhere during the time they're wailing about how their grandfather's death destroyed them on lj.

By this point I'm not even sure he has a dead grandfather, live girlfriend, or even attends a school of any kind. Frankly, I'm beginning to question whether he's a carbon-based lifeform.

You, meanwhile, have so far brought it up only when things are going badly for you in an argument, and entirely out of the blue. Now, whether or not you're using a real event to manipulate people, or made the whole thing up, is pretty much unimportant to me, because either way your relating of events isn't sincere and is just an attempt at emotional blackmail.

Perhaps a rephrase might work better: Farla (and a few other people) think(s) that it is suspiciously convenient that you suddenly have an attack of the grief in the middle of a heated argument. Nobody's main suspicion is that your grandfather is not dead. Multiple people's main suspicion is that you did not suddenly have a grief attack in the middle of an argument which had previously had nothing to do with your grandfather. Do you understand?
