Apparently, spend two months trying to get a single shiny pokemon. Me, I caught seven beautiful shiny ponyta in under a minute.
I'm actually a bit disappointed by recent games (though possibly it's simply I don't spend enough time playing around with them). The first and second gen had interesting glitches you could experiment with and learn about.
Hacking just isn't the same as the joy of finding pieces actually there in the game.
And now I will trade them to other people! I am evil incarnate.
(Cheating, no. Gamebreaking, yes. I think Missingno is part of the reason for my positive mindset toward cheating - is it really cheating if you just put back something they took out?)
I once accidentally duplicated my HM2 back in the first gen. Less hilarious, more annoying. But that's how it is when you can't just overwrite it again with a new code.

Man, I miss arguing with people in 1999 about whether using the missingno trick constituted cheating. Good times. Oh wait.
