THIS HIGHLY SECRET LIVEJOURNAL HAS SOMEHOW BEEN SPOTTED AGAIN. I CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW THEY DO IT.

ANYWAY, THEY ARE ONTO US.

IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF THE POSSE, CONSIDER YOURSELF ALERTED THAT THE PEOPLE INVOLVED ARE MY SWORN ENEMIES. I DO NOT NEED TO JUSTIFY MYSELF (NOR COULD I AS THEY ARE CLEARLY INNOCENT AND WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHOSE ACCUSATIONS ARE CORRECT IN EVERY WAY) TO YOU, BECAUSE AS A MEMBER OF THE POSSE YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO ATTACK THEM SIMPLY FOR (INNOCENTLY AND POLITELY) DISAGREEING WITH ME. FEEL NO NEED TO READ THE CONTENTS OF THE LINKS BEYOND TO GET THE PERSON'S NAME SO YOU CAN SEND THEM MESSAGES THICK WITH THAT MOST HORRIBLE OF WEAPONS, WITHERINGLY DISMISSIVE SARCASM.

IF YOU ARE A MINDSLAVE YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT TO DO.

IF YOU ARE A SOCKPUPPET YOU ARE TECHNICALLY ME AND I AM BUSY.

IF YOU ARE THE PUPPETMASTER DIRECTING ME AS YOUR MINDSLAVE/SOCKPUPPET/POSSE MEMBER, SOMETHING SEEMS TO HAVE GONE WRONG WITH OUR TELEPATHIC COMMUNICATION.

I WOULD NAME YOU BUT FOR THE LIFE OF ME I CAN'T REMEMBER WHO'S WHO ANYMORE.

WHY CAN'T WE JUST BE A GANG OF EVILDOERS? IT'S JUST SO MUCH SIMPLER. THE COMMAND STRUCTURE (WHICH TOTALLY EXISTS AND WAS NOT MADE UP BY PEOPLE WHO MUST HAVE BEEN NUTS) IS GIVING ME A HEADACHE.

I'd just like to say the kid gets points for creative use of Shakespeare. (However, taking Shakespeare out of context and attempting to substitute words in for whatever one wants has always been moronic in my opinion, if only because it's rather missing the point of the passage in an effort to sound pretentious. I wonder if anyone realizes that when Shakespeare wrote, he did it for money, and he did it during a time when the theater was seen as the equivalent of modern-day burlesque.)

I've always seen it as tragic that people absolutely refuse to redo the plays in modern language. Shakespearan English is used interchangeably with Queen's English, and the whole thing is getting more and more insane as modern English changes further. There's something in our brain that says anything hard to understand is High Art, though, so of course it's hard because it's Real English Unlike Our Debased Modern Grunting and not gutter slang. Realizing that it's not supposed to be practically impenetrable would take away from that special feeling they get about how they read Shakespeare, unlike those plebs.

(The delusion is undoubtedly helped by the fact people can't make out most of the jokes any longer. God knows it sounds a hell of a lot more serious if you can't understand the words.)

FWIW, Shakespearean language being 'superior' in some way is a complete corruption... it was very much the vernacular. I read back in my frosh year that it sounded like Appalachian English.

History is relevant in English class? Why, next you'll be saying it's somehow a good idea to interpret Kafka's stories based on the culture of the time rather than through the lens of a movement that began decades after he'd published them.

NOT THAT I'M BITTER OR ANYTHING.

Kafka? Guy turns into bug. It sucks. I never got anything deeper out of that story, which perhaps was why my English teacher hated me and I must have been just young enough to get away with it. Or are you angry at a different book of his?

No, that's basically all Kafka meant.

My teacher tried to sell it as - Existentialism, I think. The one where everything that happens is all your fault. When Kafka's story was all about how his life sucked and he had no control over it. So, basically, the exact opposite of what he'd written.

The deconstruction is inextricable from not only the text, but also the self.

On the last line, it's really a shame. More people should really know that Shakespeare was actually a dirty, dirty bastard. lol, "greatness thrust upon them."

But seriously, word otherwise.

Are you in charge again? I liked it better when I was the one with the lackeys... though I guess I gave that one up when I dropped out of the fandom...

Someone needs to keep track of this.

Well, it's not like I've been doing all that much either, so maybe you can be the secret puppet master who's giving me my marching orders that I'm passing along to the posse.

Macbeth. I guess it was your inferior american schooling?

Yeah, my only exposure to Macbeth was in one of those little comic thingies I read when I was like eight. (Also, The Illiad. Boy is that confusing when you're eight.) I should see if I can dig those up.

In defense of my american schooling, I didn't always read what they assigned, especially the plays. Not that they assigned Macbeth in the first place. We had to read Kant's spewings. Fucking Kant.

"Now I see why the LTP hates your cretinous homogeneous intestinal entrails.
And stop stalking us, you bitch."

"homogeneous"

/facepalm

I prefer to interpret it as the desperate attempts of a computer to string together a sentence with only the help of an unabridged dictionary. See, it's saying that "intestinal" and "entrails", as almost-but-not-quite identical terms, are best described as homogeneous. You can almost see its diodes blinking hopefully.

Aaaah, I wondered what that strange buzzing sound was that I kept hearing. Clearly the mindlink is confused because we're both puppetmasters of each other, since it's very much impossible. We will have to shout at each other instead.

So that's their master plan! Wow, and I thought they were just deranged idiots. We're clearly up against true brilliance here.

Howdy hoo! Given your personal attitudes and logic. I figured this might be interesting for you. I'm sure the person who posted it would love to listen to your retort to it.
