Reviewing Month is here

And I've already started.

I keep a big document of the reviews, separated by their story links.

Do you guys think I should post the daily set of reviews/story links, so people can check out the stories? Or would that be mean, because I'm posting reviews that are probably going to be all critical?

I don't know that there's any real point in not posting them... they're public anyway, so anyone who's interested could already comb through the recent submissions and find them. Putting them all in one place obviously makes it easier for people to see who got what, and I guess it circumvents any attempts to remove the evidence through taking a story down, but otherwise I don't see it as being any meaner to post them here than to submit them in the first place. I guess you could argue drawing attention to something that people might perceive as mean would make it meaner, but eh. Unless you add mocking commentary I don't think meanness would be the issue.

I was thinking posting them here could be taken as a sort of point and mock thing, and wondering if that's how people would see it.

But then, people are probably going to be mad regardless.

I imagine so. I have to admit cringing at a couple of them.

Like I said, unless you add mockitude in addition to the reviews you post or something along those lines, I don't think it should be a problem for people who wouldn't already have a problem with the reviews themselves.

Ah, you're doing this again? I love December. Maybe post just the story links so that people can go look for themselves?

Well, I'm reviewing everything, so if I did that I might as well just post a link to the category each day and tell people to click at random.

I was sort of thinking that doing this would let people judge for themselves, so if a given review looked unfair or the review sounded like something they liked, they could head over and see if they disagreed with me.

Well, the random clicking was what I was going to do anyway, but maybe you could post the list at the end in case people want to check it out after December.

Eh, that'd require going through the existing pile and collecting the links. Plus a good chunk of them won't function by then.
