Cleaned out the bearded dragon cage today. Last week or so, there was a live cricket in there from Mom trying to tempt him into eating (he's been sick). I've been keeping the water dish full since then, since it's okay for him to kill the cricket, but it's not okay for the cricket to die from dehydration and I didn't know if it'd been eaten yet. When I picked up the things in the cage, there it was.
There were a couple of options. I could drop it in the bathroom where the lizard is running around. I could drop it in the toad tank. I could drop it in the cricket tank to be dropped in the toad tank in a few days.
Instead I put it outside, where it'll probably be eaten by a bird, or die when it gets cold again.
