The feel of the category now is closer to other FFN ones...I suppose often the initial writers are coming in from other places, and as time goes on more and more people who are primarily on FFN try writing as well.

Current reviews 1968. Wow, approaching recent history now. 111 reviews given on FFN, 182 total Homestuck reviews. Category continues to have a terrible review culture, with Fed having three times as many favorites as it does reviews. And I've netted no flames, though in fairness I think that's in part due to the fact I gave fewer harsh reviews to rage at.

Speaking of such lovely sanity, we have Creative Professor, Raye_nbow, eliasbloodmoon, shikaandshiro, and Super_Volcano.

Doing a bit better on the girls' front. Not really that great, though. It makes me feel bad about Taikyoku. But not so bad I won't keep updating with existing chapters.

Also, it seemed like the girls' relationships were most likely to be ignored. I regularly complained about that with the Tavros fic and it's kind of there with a lot of the others. The web of connections among the girls and between the girls and everyone else has so much to do with everything that happens. I'm not sure if this is a direct thing or indirect - in general, people seemed to prefer to minimize relationships and emphasize a single one, so if most are about male characters, the female character fall by the wayside.

Also so much plotless shipfic, which seems like a general fandom issue.

It's impressive how fast this managed to go downhill, especially when you wouldn't think there was much room to go. In this if nothing else people certainly are creative.
