Went to my grandmother's yesterday, and actually managed to catch the cat (he's avoided me for the last five visits. You wouldn't think something so big could run so fast or slip between the crack of a door so smoothly, but he manages). Anyway, dealing with him always makes me wish he could talk, since he's somewhat fucked up and needs psychiatric help. His meow is really pitiful, more like a bird's cry than anything.
Ch6 of Ice is now seven pages, pretty much exactly. That's less than a third of what the last chapter was, but the story's hard enough to organize without trying to keep the chapter lengths even (Or, chapter four was three pages and chapter five twenty-two - I laugh at your naive concept of 'consistency'). I'm thinking it's more-or-less done now, so I'll proofread it and maybe have it up by tomorrow.
