Now that school's out, I no longer need to rush around on the weekends trying to do things. I've finished setting up a tank of indeterminate gallonage and put my two gold goldfish in there, as they were the largest. They seem to be adapting well enough to life outside in a tall, narrow container of water. There was too much light (the elodea died, which was a pretty clear sign) so I've covered up half the tank. There are also some rocks in there now, and we're planning on buying more elodea.

Another of my baby goldfish is starting to get its coloring. It's now a beautiful light peach color, with a rim of black baby coloring on the edges of its fins. I wish it'd keep the color it has now, but it'll almost certainly turn completely gold like its two siblings already have.

Managed to get the powerhead set up in the goldfish tank now that the betas don't need heaters, which should help the water quality in there. The three goldfish seem to be enjoying the current.

The crayfish is growing steadily more aggressive. As I write this she is engaged in battle with the mighty Piece of Floating Lettuce, who she is wrestling with. Afterward I expect her to take on Broken Leaf from Aquatic Plant, who I've added to her tank.

And the betas are sulking because they don't like their tanks and the cats keep drinking their water and they don't have any more mosquito larvae to eat.

Next we'll be setting up the thirty gallon and switching the fish around again, which should improve the fishes' situations although the crayfish is staying where she is.

I've been trying to finish typing up notebook fragments, and I've nearly completed my red notebook. I still have to finish typing my light blue notebook, my purple notebook and my current dark blue notebook (I'm so behind...), so this will take some time. I'm not sure if I should focus on completing the notebooks themselves or getting all fragments of a particular story out at a time, but either way it takes a while.

Thinking of submitting a new Unoriginality genre story (Tragedy), which I've already written but can't think of a title for (well, I can, but not a good title. The best I've thought of is Unoriginality: Fake Tears and other such lameness, which are stupider than the any of the titles in the pokemon Justin page). I'll need to mull on it for a while.

I also have an untyped story mocking the newly added but old concept of 'Spiritual' fanfiction, which involves beating both cast and reader over the head with the author's denomination of choice(Come to think of it, why don't we ever see stories where the OC talks about Allah or something? Hm, I feel another chapter coming on). I'm equally unsure of what to call it (Unoriginality: Revenge of the Theist?) so that'll probably be stuck in limbo (or 'Purgatory') for a time.

And I need to dig up a thesaurus to rape for the next AAMLudicrousness chapter because it seems my Word thesaurus has a sense of shame, whatever that may be.

And I need to get going on my written but untyped Unoriginality OT chapters (current themes: people who rewrite canon to sanitize it, people who think they're original by writing the same chapter as every other author but changing three words so that now the OT is already a pokemon master and going on a new journey).

And I should probably be doing that rather than typing up this.

Have fun raping your thesaurus

0_0 I know it's figurative, but still... 0_0

For your tragedy story its going to depend on the aspects of the story. You could try and pun the way the person dies, or "Fun, flowers at a Funeral", or "Undying love" to see if anyone gets the joke or something along those lines.

But I have to say that you have lost me "Revenge of the theist" - all I can think of is "All bow the magnificent bouncing ball!". Maybe something with the word omnipotent

The parody on tragedy is a very good idea--it is much needed and something I think you could do very effectively and hilariously. There would be much to play on--esp the sappiness of AAML, rocketshippy stories, and the like. Please do it.

Yes, I realize I am asking you to do everything. Just ignore me and do whatever you like.

I'd also like to say that I enjoy reading about your fish. :) It's fun to hear about them growing ^_^

Also, I was wondering--do you have any saltwater tropical fish? And would you happen to know anything about caring for them?

Saltwater fish? No, I don't have any, although I was planning to get some after the goldfish problem is resolved. What I know about them is pretty much that they require a large tank (two hundred+ gallons is about right, I think), close attention, constant maintenance, specific and/or expensive food, and a lot of equipment. I'm told you need to let a saltwater tank run for about a month before you can even think of putting fish in. They're not as easy as freshwater fish. A good book on the subject for an introduction is The New Marine Aquarium: Step-By-Step Setup & Stocking Guide (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1890087521/qid=1088007511/sr=ka-1/ref=pd_ka_1/103-7206472-7019060).
