On reflection, carapace meta deserves extended time, a lot of links, and trawling the memes and discussion to remember what the issues are.

You say many good things which need to be repeated in every available corner at volume.

What if, while you're not posting meta on PM, someone else writes it? What if it's about how she'll realize Jack isn't actually that bad and then redeem Jack with her love?

And it's the only PM meta anyone ever posts on LJ and everyone on LJ reads it. And they make it so popular that everyone in the rest of the fandom reads it. And all carapace fanfic from then on is Jack/PM where PM redeems him and it turns out he was only evil because the queen was evil and made him hate people, and then PM says she understands because WQ was kind of a bitch too and it's great he killed her and then they have lots of babies and also her name is Bec Blanche forever.

What if this happens because you didn't post PM meta on a community somewhere.

That would be a scarier story if I had any reason to believe that anyone like that cared enough about PM to write meta about her.

Well, I can commit to this: if anyone does post Wrong Opinions about PM, it won't be the only meta about her for very long.
