Uploaded my sort-of Unoriginality one-shot, Knowledge. I don't really like the title, but it's the best I could come up with.

The idea is from all the OT stories that involve people taking classes on things like pokemon illnesses. Didn't really feel appropriate to put in Unoriginality OT, and besides, it's not really the hammer-to-head blunt I use for that.



In the same vein, I have an idea for an Ash/Misty/May story after reading the stupidity of the most recent May-bashing story. (Sure this is just a one time thing, little author. I'm just hallucinating the ending author note about a second chapter.). The idea is along much the same lines as Knowledge, although it'll probably be longer and more descriptive. (I don't take a stab at writing the canon characters much, so I should make sure it counts.)

I was surprised to see who the author is. You may not have read her fics, but in my eyes her pokeshipping fics are pretty good. (sigh) Which goes to show how even good authors can kill their reputation by writing an insensible story.

I'm very disappointed in her. Now her writing seems bland.

In any case, I'm not sure if some of the flaming was from serious reviewers (like you); most of them seem to be from May-lovers or Misty-lovers asserting their opinions there. I wrote a piece mocking Misty and May's rivalry (because I frankly don't see a love triangle at all, not at this stage) and of my seven reviewers, I think at least two or three of them either praised poke or advanceshipping to infinity.

You should write that Ash/May/Misty story (if you wrote it already, is there under your profile?) I'd like to see one, a real one that's not a parody (although parodies of romances are always cool in my book.)

I'll have to take your word on the quality of pokeshipping stories - I can't stand those, I'm afraid.

I was actually pleased to see a couple reviewers saying that they didn't like May but still thought the story was out of line. Maybe there's some hope for humanity the category after all.

The Ash/May/Misty story should go up next week or so. It may not be what you're expecting, though.
