For a second I was freaking out over Meenah having the least fic of any of the ancestors, until I counted and saw there were actually a couple who had none... but still. That is ridiculous. While the two worst ancestors get the most fic, ugh.

And the Psiioniic getting more love than the Condesce, wtf.

Though, granted, to at least some extent it just reflects the subset of fandom that happens to post to FFN; it would be interesting to see whether these numbers reflect more general fandom trends or whether, say, Meenah is just much more popular with e.g. the Tumblr crowd. And the sample size is so small that one or two people could easily be throwing things off, of course. But even so. Poor taste, FFN. :(

(It would also be interesting to compare to who gets the most fanart with who gets the most fanfic... hmmm...)

Not just the two worst ones, but the ones we'd only just been introduced to, compared to the much longer period Meenah's been around. And it's not actually none, the character list is incomplete. If I'd actually gotten a zero for anyone I'd have listed it.

It makes a lot more sense if you remember the point of fanfiction is boys fucking. Psiioniic is far more important to this noble endeavor than Condesce.

I'm not sure the exact ratios per character but it's not too far off tumblr, honestly. Kankri and Cronus outdoing the troll girls in fandom love is definitely standard. 99% of Porrim stuff is just going on about how hot she is, while Kankri is endless walls of MY FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELS.
