::::D

I think I'm also getting better at scheduling. I've got a bunch of chapters done in advance, so I think next I'll work on getting more WWZ done. (Since the next pokemon game is coming out in October, it'd be nice to have a bunch ready for the first week or so until the release date.) I've also managed to remove another book from the list and just give it an overall review, and I'm planning to do the same to another.

I really wish there weren't so many books with sequels, though. Finishing Unwind won't really clear up that slot since there's another two books already written for it. The Host doesn't have any sequels yet, but the author's threatened to make it a trilogy. And I'm thinking of powering through Crossed and just giving a summary of it, since if Matched is any indication only two or three things will happen in the whole book, but Fever really needs to be screamed at in detail.

If I can manage to pile up enough side posts I could even make a month's worth of that and take the time off to write fanfic dick around aimlessly while intending to get right on that fanfic thing soon. Or maybe I could play Pathologic, I've really been meaning to do that.

Or all the spring/summer stuff will eat me and I'll go back to posting in the middle of the night again.

Bean meaning to link you to a Fifty Shades spork that's really lovely so you're officially free of that:

I wouldn't worry to much about a Host sequel. Meyer is still in her post-Midnight-Sun-flounce and "punishing" her fans by refusing to write. She also constantly talks about all these books she's writing that I'm pretty sure don't actually exist, and that may well be one of them.

That's a relief, ish. The book does seem actually pretty interesting.

I had the same reaction as you to the first few chapters of the Host. I was expecting Twilight levels of awfulness and it just wasn't there. It didn't really hold my attention so I don't know about the rest, but it seemed no where near as offensive to all senses as Twilight.

And you're still more than a year behind on carapace reviews. I have somehow gone from finding that a relief from a personal perspective right back to finding it severely aggravating from same.

Carapace reviews are way harder! You have to have more internet for it. Plus they just did that stupid email change and I figured I'd wait until the last minute to see if they'd have changed it back by today.
