There's this freaky little story up right now, imaginatively titled Untitled by Weevil belongs to Rex.

You probably have some assumption now of what I'm about to say just from the previous sentence. But no, I'm pointing it out for another reason.

Imagine some little elementary school kid comes skipping up to you, a stack of lined paper clutched in their chubby fist, and asks if you want to read their story about John and Sam. You pick it up and start reading and discover that, written in their childish script with their simple sentences, is the sordid tale of how Sam ambushes and rapes John.

Now imagine the child's sister and parents walk up at this moment talking about how awesome the story was.

That's about how reading Untitled feels.

Okay... ::Shudders::

Besides the awful writing ('In the Team Rocket building, in the middle of a forest...') and the absolute lack of proper (or even semi-proper) grammar, punctuation and spelling, let alone paragraph set up... this is disturbing. Very, very disturbing. HOW old is this... Weevil? Thirteen? And living in Canada?

...

I feel very sorry that I am Canadian, now... I'd like to move to the UK, please. I hear it's a nice little island... so is England...

Good lord, someone report this kid! The horror of reading even the first sentence (after you get beyond the... profile, if you can call it that) is just terrible. Either that, or shoot me. Either one.

(By the way, I actually do talk like this.)

Well, I think this qualifies for the last item on the checklist for the fandom in general.

Gary Stus? Check.
Recent high school fanfics (not by this author, but still)? Check.
Possible OOC-ness? Check.
Seme/uke? Check.
Shipping wars? Check.
Crappy crossovers? Check.
Disregard for canon, the basic conventions of the English language, and the laws of physics? Check.
Implied rape? Check.
Angsty/suicidal characters who slice their arms in the bathroom and somehow survive (possibly because they were too spineless/stupid to cut deep enough and just off themselves)? Check.

Well, it's official. The recent month's worth of fics in the Pokemon fandom at FFNet is just one really bad homosexual lemon and one twisted gender-switch fic from pissing everyone off at [livejournal.com profile] fanficrants.

Sorry. Couldn't help myself.

Disgusting. Where are this kid's parents?

Hobbies: writing crappy stories

You can say that again, hun.

An equally disturbing review from one of her fics:

As far as I can tell from the profile and other stories, her parents are right over her shoulder reading what she writes and then encouraging her to make more.

Isn't that a nice thought?

You wouldn't happen to know why pyromania would be a good thing for "twenty million personalitys" to have, would you?

Haha, no, that would be the 'disturbing' part. Mulitple personalities notwithstanding.
