So hello. It appears I exist again.

I'm violently apathetic, so I'm not really going to make much of an entry.

Basically, we're all screwed, but at least when everything goes to hell, a lot of people are going to deserve it.

Resource war? Yeah, that's what my Enviornmental text book says will happen. My book also says that a part of the reason why we might have one is due to Bush not agreeing to the Kyoto Protocal. In the end, it all comes down to people not being able to change their ways, because fossil fuels and all that have become a very big part of society.

Bah. Not to knock the Kyoto Protocol, but...it wasn't enough. It was like forming a bucket brigade to stop a forest fire. It wasn't nearly enough to actually solve the problem. Better than nothing, but not really enough to matter. (Once the temperature hits a certain critical limit, massive amounts of carbon are released by the oceans, which will cause a massive increase in temperature and make it functionally impossible to reverse global warming. Climate change will start feeding on itself, and it'll be over.)

That said - it's no excuse for what Bush did, which was basically form his own bucket brigade dedicated to throwing gas onto the flames and occasionally kicking the people throwing water.
