Regarding Ralts, the twenty-eighth chapter of Unoriginality is up.

I was going to say something about how strange it is people vote for Unoriginality again, but then realized that the way the poll works right now, I just don't update until it hits something like Unoriginality where the chapter is already long done and I just wasn't satisfied with it (I'm not satisfied with it - I'm not sure I got the idea across and I hate it when my author's notes are that disproportionate to the story). So it's actually very smart to vote for that. Kudos, wisdom of the masses, kudos.

If nothing else, having a Ralts is no substitute for having characterization. That's telling not showing and it tends to contradict everything else that's being shown in your average story.

Which aptly sums up the average story in the first place. Telling is just endemic in the category.

Like not using commas in dialogue.

You go away for a few months and everything just goes to hell.
