Fanlib really is like poking a hornet's nest...only without the bit where you get stung, thankfully.

(It is kind of weird being there after getting used to a certain minimum degree of literacy on livejournal. By which I mean extremely. If you can't spell three letter words, you're not allowed to write sex scenes. I don't care how old you claim you are, stop it. And there's nothing like talking to people older than you who spell about as well as your little brother for vertigo.)

Also: their posting incentives are so very much not thought through. So very much.

Biblefic - The Daughter's Lot

The Daughters' Lot, now on glorious FFN. (Oh, FFN, I never thought I'd find you a bastion of high standards, and yet, a day or two among the fanlibbers have shown me my errors. I never realized how much I loved reporting people for not spellchecking until it was taken away from me.)

Anyway, I, like God, am often cruel and capricious. People voted for me to post "something new" and "a oneshot" on the poll rather than basking in the glory that is my chaptered work. So they get a subversive biblefic. (It also allowed me to continue my quest to find the most bizarre genre combinations. I was tempted by "suspense/family" but settled on "tragedy/family". I suspect that is, possibly, not how FFN wants "family" interpreted.)

Partway through the next chapter of Left Alone. It's the first one that's not drawing heavily on personal experience, so it's slower going.

But anyway. There were a couple of ladybugs in my room today, which I wasn't sure what to make of. Also, I think my philosophy teacher may kill me.
