farlaI'm working on rearranging Lucki's chapters.
The original plan was to squash them into thirteen chapters - thirteen being not only unlucky, but a recurring number throughout the PG-13 story of a thirteen year old new trainer which takes exactly thirteen days total. However, I'm fond of my original tagline for the story and considering making each word a chapter title, which would mean sixteen chapters - meaning two chapters need to go. However, if the total isn't going to be thirteen, then it becomes important to keep the significance of the thirteenth chapter, where the absol's caught, which in turn means chapter-squashing can only take place among chapters 14-18. And as those chapters are better arranged (with cliffhanger endings and/or sandwiched between two related news reports), and are only a few, this is hard to manage.
So I'm currently deciding between doubling up letters of the tagline and making it thirteen chapters total, squashing the 14-18 somehow, or moving the absol's capture back to 12 and so having a combined chapter among both the 1-12 and 13-18 group.
Alternatively I could just post the damn thing, but considering all the effort I went through to make the original chapters match up properly, it seems like a waste.
